Sportsmans dinner coordinator and club vice chairman Richard Birch will soon be announcing details of this years function. This years dinner will be hosted at the Forest Pines complex and will include a golf and room package.

The number of junior players attending the clubs Friday night sessions at the sportshall has now passed the 30 a week mark.
The clubs head coach Pete Rushby said "I all my years at the club I have never seen so many junior crickters at indoor nets, hopefully this will continue as the traing moves outside"

Over the past two week three new cricketers have arrived at the nets, all of them play Sunday cricket for Grainthorpe at present but are hoping to play Saturday cricket for Barton
