Profile Pic clearly shows the after effects of hitting the ball off the square. As you can see from the comment above, the administrator's hobby is to take the mickey, completely and utterly, out of the little welsh man! I have been fortunate enough to join Barton Cricket Club for the 2005 season and in typical Bartonian fashion they have done nothing but take the michael out of me. If you have no sense of humour this is not the club for you! I hold my hands up to being the most boring, and possibly slowest, opening batsman to have ever graced the cricket field. Having played in Wales, Leciester, Surrey and Immingham I am really pleased that I found a Cricketing my true Home at Barton Cricket Club. As second team and academy captain I was really pleased with the efforts of all the players in 2008 and can't wait for the 2009 season to begin.

I have tried bowling, batting and wicketkeeping in an attempt to find my cricketing strength. Still to tick off umpiring and coaching. Every possibility of consigning captaincy to the failure bin this seasion.

Name: Mark "The Miz" Hooper Bowl: Fast if possible Bat: Cant really Bat tbh. Nickname: HOOPS Height: 6 foot Joined: 2007..... Since joining Barton in 2007 i have enjoyed both my two seasons here. Every1 here is such a laugh and thats the way it should be because its only a bit of fun. If see me Play I am the one is completely mad n just dives around in the field doing spectacular dives for the cameras and getting nowhere near the ball or the one who has muscular physic. The best thing about playing for Barton is the tea break because there gorgeous n i like 2 fill my plate ;). After the game i like nothing more than a nice cold beer 2 celebrate winning or 2 drown my sorrows. Cant wait for the new season 2 start and am bigger, better and badder than ever. Thats all i have time for today because in life there are Winners and there are Losers We are the best cricket team of the 21st century.... BE JEALOUS!!!

supreme athlete, all rounder, social animal. bowling- right arm all over, long hops out side off stump, pie chucker etc. batting- normally a 4 ball flurry. can normally be heard talking absolute rubbish on the sideline or attempting to piss off Evans.

Now a veteran of the club I have the dubious record of playing in 7 cup finals, three of them first team cup finals, and being on the losing side each time, captains beware!! Over a playing career spanning over 28 years I have always considered myself an over rated bowler but an under rated batsman!! However with best bowling of 7 for 16 at Cleethorpes and a top score of 54 I guess I could be wrong about that!! Despite what was put in the Target about teggy being the groundsman I now consider myself the man that the clubs bowlers are growing to hate more and more due to the fact that year on year the tracks are getting flater and the outfield quicker, Sorry about that boys!!!
