What are the aims for next season?

Promotion is priority with the one eye on producing player to push for first team cricket.

Do you feel you need to add to the 2nd XI Squad in the winter?

The group of players around the second team is strong with a strong core of young players such as fin bell and Cal Newton. These player supported with experienced head like Jerry evens and Ben leaning we have a strong core.

Why should people come down and watch your 2nd XI?

Fun family friendly atmosphere with a competitive cricket what more could you ask for!

A cup run would be nice wouldn’t it?

The last 2 full seasons have resulted in good cup runs and I don’t see why this year should be any different!

When we speak again this time next year, where do you hope the team will be?

A division higher, looking to replace players stolen by the first team!

We are well known for having some of the best facilities, but why else would local players want to come down and play for Barton Town CC?
